Since its inception in 1992, the ATJF has become the primary voice representing the interests of the franchisee members. The ATJF board of directors is comprised of 6 franchisees elected by their peers serving 3-year terms. The board meets via teleconference (or in person) on a monthly basis to progress its annual plan.
Each director has a liaison responsibility to work closely with the franchising company department heads and Franchisee Committees in the business areas of Menu Policy & Operations and People & Training. The ATJF board meets with Taco John’s International, Inc. senior management 2-3 times each year for purposes of discussing and providing valuable input to strategic issues affecting the direction of the chain.
The ATJF provides value added programs that are made available to its membership highlighted by a Business Insurance Program with reduced premium rates. The ATJF is continually seeking to identify additional, beneficial programs.
